High Quality Computer Grade Power Strips

Power Strips are designed to plug multiple pieces of electrical devices with a single power cord. The single power cord is flexible and can be various lengths. Each Power Strip normally consists of multiple outlets that vary in length from 12 to 70 inches. For example, 70 inch Power Strips could have as many as 32 outlets spaced over the length of the strip. Where as a 12 strip could only have 6 outlets.

Power Strips also come in different power ratings. They are available in 15 Amp , 20 Amp and 30 Amp. Many different power plus and outlets are available depending on the application. Power plugs are available in a standard straight plug or a locking style. Outlets can be of many types including NEMA or IEC standards.

Power Strips are protected with a circuit breaker which safely protects any overflow of electric power flowing through the outlets. They provide maximum protection for equipment in IT environments.

Outlet Strips are used for power distribution in many applications involving the need for plugging multiple devices into a single power source. These Outlet Strips can provide a high number of outlets spaced across a compact area. These Outlet strips can be mounted in a Network Cabinet horizontally so that it can provide power to a variety of devices within the cabinet.

Applications for Outlet Strips can be in many areas. They can be used in Data Centers, Network Cabinets, Network Operation Centers, Hospitals, Process Control, Financial Centers, Workbenches, Call Centers, Kiosks and many others.

Outlets Strips are available in many sizes and features can be customized to any application.

Selecting a Power Strip:

When selecting Power Strips, refer to the part numbers listed from above table. Consider the following criteria as you select your electrical power strip:

1) What amperage is needed? (15A, 20A or 30A) You will need to know what power source is available to your location. This can be found by locating the circuit panel distributing the power in the zone area.

2) How many outlets are needed? How many outlets will be needed to accommodate the devices needed to be plugged into the Power Strips?

3) What length of power cord is needed? (6 ft, 10 ft. or 15 ft.) Need to decide how far away the strip will be from the wall outlet. This will determine how long of power cord will be needed.

4) What length of power strip is needed for your application? (24”,36”,48”,60” or 70”) The length of the strip is determined by the number of outlets needed. Also what spacing is needed between outlets?

5) What type of mounting will be used? (Mounting Clips or L Bracket) Powers Strips can be mounted in cabinets or on walls or workbenches.

6) What type of equipment can be plugged into Power Strips? Many types of equipment can be plugged into the Power Strips.  Devices such as Computers, Office Equipment, Battery Chargers, Cell Phones, A/V Equipment,  Networking Equipment, Medical Equipment and many Others.

7) What durability do you need? Most Power strips feature Aluminum Housings which are very durable and indestructible. These types of Power Strips will have a lifetime warranty
