High Quality Computer Grade 20 AMP Power Strips

The 20 AMP Power Strips are offered as high amperage solution for power distribution. It is available with a 20 Amp power plug and a flexible power cord. The plug can be standard NEMA 5-20P straight plug or a L5-20P locking plug. The multiple outlets can range from 2 to 24 on a single 20 Amp Power Strip. These strips can vary in length from 12" to 70".

20 AMP Power Strips meets all UL safety approvals and is designed to protect your computer equipment and allow it to operate securely. Each 20 Amp Power Strip is also protected with a 20 Amp circuit breaker that can be reset if an overload occurs. They can be mounted for use in Network Cabinets, Server Racks, Workbenches, Data Cabinets and in Telecommunication Centers.

The 20 AMP Power Strip allows multiple devices to be plugged into a single power source. As many as 24 devices can be plugged into a single power strip with a single input plug and circuit.

Selecting a Power Strip:

When selecting Power Strips, refer to the part numbers listed from above table. Consider the following criteria as you select your electrical power strip:

 

1) What amperage is needed? (15A, 20A or 30A) You will need to know what power source is available to your location. This can be found by locating the circuit panel distributing the power in the zone area.

2) How many outlets are needed? How many outlets will be needed to accommodate the devices needed to be plugged into the Power Strips?

3) What length of power cord is needed? (6 ft, 10 ft. or 15 ft.) Need to decide how far away the strip will be from the wall outlet. This will determine how long of power cord will be needed.

4) What length of power strip is needed for your application? (24”,36”,48”,60” or 70”) The length of the strip is determined by the number of outlets needed. Also what spacing is needed between outlets?

5) What type of mounting will be used? (Mounting Clips or L Bracket) Powers Strips can be mounted in cabinets or on walls or workbenches.

6) What type of equipment can be plugged into Power Strips? Many types of equipment can be plugged into the Power Strips.  Devices such as Computers, Office Equipment, Battery Chargers, Cell Phones, A/V Equipment,  Networking Equipment, Medical Equipment and many Others.
